Corrosive Waste Piping Systems - This course provides an overview of corrosive waste piping systems with a focus on CPVC materials, system components, and chemical resistance. Participants will learn how to properly adapt CPVC to glass, PP, and PVDF, and review key requirements related to plenum ratings and EPA regulations. Designed for engineers, designers, and installers, this course highlights essential considerations for selecting, designing, and maintaining safe and compliant corrosive waste systems.

Larry Dees is a Technical Service Representative for Spears Manufacturing with over 40 years of experience in solvent-cemented piping systems and more than 30 years in fire protection. His background spans design, installation, service, inspections, and training across fire sprinkler, clean agent, industrial dry chemical, kitchen hood, vehicle suppression, and fire extinguisher systems. A former NICET Level III, Larry has also spent 35 years teaching and conducting technical training classes for contractors, inspectors, and engineers. In addition to his fire protection expertise, he brings several years of plumbing and irrigation experience, making him a versatile and trusted resource in both piping and fire system applications.
