speaker

Phil Tyree -

Phil began his ‘iron’ career with M&H Valve and Kennedy Valve (McWane companies) in 2000.  This was municipal, water treatment and wastewater-based business regarding fire hydrants, gate valves, butterfly valves and check valves.

In 2008, a new opportunity presented itself with Anvil International, previously known as the Grinnell Company (coincidentally his wife’s grandfather, Mac Abbott retired from this same company in the early 80’s).  This was his introduction to plumbing and mechanical piping systems providing information for grooved piping as well as pipe hangers and supports.

2022 opened a new chapter in this industry with McWane Plumbing Technical Services.  Supporting the engineering efforts with cast iron soil pipe and fittings.  In addition to Tyler Pipe and AB&I Pipe, he also works with Tyler Coupling and Anaco-Husky couplings.

Phil is married, a father of 2 (girl & boy…both teenagers!), has 4 horses, 3 Great Danes and a mess of chickens.  His home is in New Smyrna Bch, FL.
