Corrosive Waste Drainage Systems and Plenum Considerations - This presentation will cover a variety of materials of construction that have been used in the plenum space, speaking on the advantages and limitations of each. Discussion will be held around the chemical makeup of the materials and where certain MOCs may be better suited than others, with a focus on the only plenum rated thermoplastic piping, PVDF. We will then finish with discussing the ASTM E84 standard, testing methods, and why it is such an important standard in the plenum waste drainage space.

Bob Lowrie - Arkema, Inc.
Robert Lowrie has worked at Arkema for 7 years. He has held various sales and marketing roles in the High Performance Polymers division and currently is a global market manager with their Fluoropolymers group. He received his B.S. in chemical engineering from Villanova University, and his MBA from West Chester University. He is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and has experience presenting at various industry events on topics including considerations when designing with different polymers.
