2018 ARKANSAS PLUMBING CODE - GREASE INTERCEPTOR REQUIREMENTS - This session will work through Chapter 10, Section 1003.1 – 1003.3 of the current Arkansas State Plumbing Code. We will highlight some of the changes from the 2006 code to the 2018 code. Define and discuss the differences between Hydromechanical and Gravity Grease Interceptors. Understand the specific certification requirements for each type and, most importantly, the enforcement that is changing the grease interceptor landscape in Arkansas. Lastly, we will look at sizing requirements and recommendations for each type.
